With my new digital magazine, I want to share my experiences with others who are interested in outdoor adventuring, some travel and most off all; gear reviews. From trail guides to tips for managing gear in different environments to advice on staying safe while exploring nature – I hope to cover a wide array of topics based on my personal experiences hiking, biking and wasting money on crap products.
I am excited to bring along some of my writing and outdoor author friends as we attempt to develop another platform to reach our readers. Several years ago we produced a small print magazine that we put out 3-4 times a year focused on the Blueridge Mountains. You could find it in stands and kiosks all over the Brevard, Ashville and Hendersonville area. That venture never made a dim and caused a lot of frustration getting it into circulation. So this time around we are taking the digital route.

We Break Down The Basics On gear & technology Reviews
It’s not just outdoor adventures and gear we cover. believe it or not, we are passionate about kitchen gadgets! Why you ask? There are many reasons but one is they are a little easier to review sometimes. I have an issue when all these blogs and review sites don’t actually have the item they are recommending. I want to do it different…and kitchen gadgets are a little cheaper and easier to come by.
Inspiration: Darren here and I wanted to give a little insight to my madness. I would like to consider myself a WordPress expert and in the past used plain old wordpress.com as a platform. That was short lived. This time I opted for a full on stand alone server side WordPress Install using a premium theme and some custom coding. Some of my writing will be about GeneratePress vs. Kadence, hope you like it.
The writing staff here at Knowledge World Today is super into coffee, Chromebooks, WordPress, Writing Journals, Ink Pens and lots of other random stuff that we think is cool. Several of us also like to write short stories and novellas we have been working on and this could be a good place to post them too. Some content will be over on our Medium Blog, but all of our writing efforts will focus here first.
Inspiration: Jolene here and I too wanted to give a little peek into my writing. I have had several faild blogs over the years…haven’t we all? This time I am more commited and after my last debacle with WIX. I dove head first into WordPress. If you are using Squarespace, Godaddy, WIX or some other junk website builder, no is the time to put on your big girl pants and get with the program. WordPress or bust!
